I am passionate about working with single parents, women, children, teens, and couples who are motivated to see their lives move in a positive direction. I provide a judgement-free, trusting space that allows for exploration of these personal goals and I will use various therapeutic approaches to cater to your situation. I have over 13 years of experience working with survivors of intimate partner violence, families involved in the foster care system, individuals with depression, anxiety, complex trauma, ADHD, interpersonal conflicts, parenting and marital challenges.
My clinical focus is based on the strengths perspective, narrative therapy, solution focused, cognitive-behavioral therapy and EMDR (eye-movement desensitization reprocessing). I incorporate mindfulness, meditation and grounding exercises when needed. I believe the best approach is one where you can feel a connection and rapport and trust can build. I have been a licensed clinical social worker since 2009 and have worked for the Department of Mental Health, community mental health and domestic violence non-profit agencies.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish.

I recognize how challenging it can be to make sure our basic needs are met without neglecting our mental health. I applaud your bravery in taking the first big step towards a happier and healthier version of yourself. I understand that the healing process is never a straight line. Some days look and feel great, while other days seem impossible to get through. My goal isn’t to provide you the “perfect” life, instead I wish to assist you in garnering the tools necessary to approach difficulties and challenges in a healthy and productive way.
My clinical training is focused on trauma related to Intimate Partner Violence and Intergenerational Trauma. I offer a collaborative approach with each client to ensure your unique needs are being met.
